A native of hungry, goulash features the zest of tomatoes, garlic, and oregano.


Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 of a 24oz. package of frozen diced hash browns with onions & peppers
- 1 -15oz. can of tomato sauce
- 1-14.5 oz. can of Italian diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup cheese (optional)

Now here’s what you do:
- Brown the hamburger and drain off fat.
- In a 4 qt. crock pot, combine meat, potatoes, tomato sauce and undrained tomatoes.
- Cover & cook on low heat setting for 6-8 hours or on high heat setting for 3-4 hours.
- Remove liner from slow cooker before serving, sprinkle with cheese and let stand til cheese melts.
Can be served the traditional way with buttered noodles or any other way you choose.
