Just wanted to give everyone an update on Bob aka @beerluver

A little background on Bob, since everyone keeps asking me what his past ailments were:

In 1995, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (Stage 4) and Stage 4 Bone cancer in 2000 (including a bone marrow transplant) and he beat it.

In 2006, he landed himself in the V.A. Hospital in Milwaukee were he was in a coma for 10 days and was then diagnosed with congestive heart failure and  B.O.O.P.

The B.O.O.P. was said to have been caused from the bone marrow transplant and the congestive heart failure was a result of his chemotherapy treatments – meaning this all stems back to his bouts with cancer.

This latest hospitalization resulted after 5 weeks of illness and him having difficulty breathing on Monday of this week.  The doctor’s originally thought he had bronchitis and changed their diagnosis to pneumonia upon admittance to the hospital.

This is the latest I heard from his sister Natalie who was just here.

Earlier tonight, Bob’s blood pressure dropped dangerously low and the family was called in as they were afraid they were going to lose him at that time. At this time, he is stable.  They put in a central line to help stabilize his blood pressure and the vent is breathing for him 100%.  His mother is staying with him throughout the night so he is not alone.  They are still hoping to do the Bronchoscopy in the morning as they think they are not dealing with pneumonia this time around.  He needs to keep his blood pressure stable in order to have the bronchoscopy, so please pray that he does.  Right now, he is basically paralyzed and in a coma.  If his blood pressure continues to drop, the doctors have said that there will not be anything left that they can do to help him and will leave everything in the hands of the family.

We ask that you continue to pray for Bob and his family during this difficult time and we all hope that he pulls through all of this once again!
