Dear Deadbeat Dad #1
You are proving yourself to be an even bigger Deadbeat Dad on a daily basis. At one point in time, I thought maybe you had a chance to earn a more respectable title but you have proved me wrong time and time again. You have most recently proved that you deserve this title by informing your wonderfully amazing son that the reason you could not attend his first football game because you had to participate in a town rummage sale that you DID NOT even participate in. Instead, you had your head so far up your friends ass in hopes that someday he will pay you the large sums of money he keeps promising you. Get over it. It’s not going to happen. Your kids are far more important than money—but oh wait—that’s right—money is the one thing you chase in life but have never been able to do it the proper way with say, a job! You’ve been collecting unemployment for how long now?? What is it, almost 2 years and have been working for cash under the table and not providing properly for your kids. Yep. Sounds like you! You continue to piss me off everyday. I particularly love it when you send me a text message late Thursday evening or half way through the day on a Friday and ask me if you will get to see him for the weekend. Then I proceed to inform you that no, you cannot because we have already made plans for the weekend and are not here to cater to your needs at the last minute or I have reminded you time and time again that your son has football on Saturday’s and I’m not about to interrupt his fun because you’ve decided you want to play Daddy for the day.
It used to bother me a lot when your son thought you were the best thing on Earth but now it bothers me even more that he has started to realize that you are not. I hate that you have let him down time and time again. I hate that you couldn’t even pick up the phone on his 1st day of school to give him a call and see how it went. I hate that you have missed out on so many amazing things in his life and that it does not upset you. I think the one thing I hate the most is that you constantly ask me when you will get to see him yet you can’t make the effort to stop at our house when you are in town for the day or even go as far to just drive into town to spend a day with him.
You have truly earned your title as Deadbeat Dad #1. So, congratulations, you deserve it!
Thanks again!

I’m going to try and keep this short so I don’t rant and rave about what an a**hole this piece of s**t is. Well that about says it actually. I’m sick of his shit, if he ever wants to grow up and become an adult it will probably too late to repair the damage that he continues to cause with his child. Also, why does he see his other two kids more than his first born? f@$^er!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh, i couldn’t agree more! one thing i ABSOLUTELY 100% HATED beyond words while we were together & which i constantly yelled at & lectured him about was how he would always refer to his second son as ‘the only legitmate s*#@!*s male’ PISSED ME OFF TO NO END! he’s a worthless turd & would deserve it if none of his kids want anything to do with him!

absolutely! it would be a sad day indeed, if they did in fact inherit any of his “wonderful” traits! thankfully they have plenty other positive role models in their lives!
