For those of you who follow me on Twitter I’m sure you’ve seen my Tweets and past posts about Sponsored Tweets from IZEA which is a program that pays you to tweet out certain messages in regard to various products or services. I think it’s a great program that allows those of us who are beyond addicted to Twitter to generate a little extra cash while we are lost is Twitterland. For us, it’s a little extra money for an evening out for some quality family time.

Sponsored Tweets is also a very easy program to use. When you login and set up your account you have a user friendly dashboard as you can see below that allows you to set your price and list keywords about items that interest you, your family etc. Not only that, but IZEA will suggest a price per tweet for you but you are completely free to change the amount to whatever you are comfortable with.

The reason I chose to participate is a program like this, other than the money, is because you do not have to tweet about things you don’t want to affiliate yourself with. In some cases the Tweet is written for you and at times you get to compose them. You are always given information as to what the Tweet is about, a chance to view the product or service’s website and see where the link you tweet directs your followers.
