Author: For years I have yelled at cars as they sped down the street not paying attention or watching for small children playing in the area.
For years they have ignored my yelling.
Then today, this ad pops into my Inbox about a baseball radar gun from Radar Sports.
That’s when I start thinking to myself….hmmmm…..these things measure speed.
Hmmm…..I could use it during baseball in the Summer and when we are not at baseball, I can use it to scare the idiots who fly down my road like they own the place! Talk about a great gift—fun for the whole family!!!
I can picture it now…..
There I am on a warm Summer’s night, sitting in a chair at the end of my driveway sipping a glass of wine from one hand and holding my radar gun in the other.
Imagine the calls I would be making to the local public safety department…..
Me: Hi, this is Anne and I just wanted to let you know that there is some idiot flying down our road at 43 MPH and the posted speed limit is only 25.
Dispatcher: And just how do you know they were going 43 MPH?
Me: Duh…because I totally just clocked them doing 43 MPH with my Radar gun! Did you want their license plate number?
It’s going to be a good Summer!
Why, that definitely sounds like fun! And I need one for my area too! Speed bump is so not cutting it!

LOL Great idea! We get that here too. What ticks me off is they don’t stop at the stop sign they roll through it. Or they tack off around the corner like a bat out of hell. Scares the crap outta me. That could be fun sitting out there with a radar gun.
