I personally see no problem with letting the two older children share a room for the time being. Especially if they don’t have a problem with it. My oldest daughter and her younger brother shared a room for two years and we didn’t see anything wrong with the situation. They are, after all, siblings. This is just what has to be when you don’t have enough rooms for each person to have their own room. I understand, I have four kids in a three bedroom house and no one’s offered to upgrade it for me.

I know your are not supposed to hang things on the walls other than picture nails but could you rig something up as a sort of curtain to give them a sort of wall between them? Just an idea, good luck! If you need help making something let me know. I just had another idea, what about a privecy screen, we could make one of those and then you wouldnt need to hang anything and it could be moved whenever needed.

Yeah, I’ve tried latches on drawers but he easily rips those off and we’re not allowed to install any shelves or hang things with anything other than picture nails (very strict landlord).
The puberty monster hasn’t arrived in our house yet so that part doesn’t really scare me.
