First things first, here’s the scoop.
Last August, I purchased a Student Ticket to BlogHer 2010 in NYC, because well, I am a student and the ticket = A LOT cheaper!
And since we all know I am cheap, in a good way, meaning I don’t like to pay full price for anything if I don’t have too, I won’t.
Well, since purchasing my ticket, my Hardworking Hubby and I have decided NOT to go to New York this year, meaning I don’t need the ticket.
We have since decided that we will be traveling to Sin City instead since it’s a heck of a lot cheaper to do.
So, instead of A) Letting my ticket go to waste. and B) Trying to sell my ticket to another student (who probably can’t afford to buy a ticket since they are a student and probably have loans that add up to like eleventy billion dollars like I do!)
I have decided to give my ticket away to another student.
Yes.
You read that correctly.
I am GIVING AWAY my STUDENT TICKET TO BLOGHER 10 in NYC!!
Yes.
A Student Rate: BlogHer ‘10 – Full Conference Pass!!!
(Full conference pass includes admission to all conference programming, meals, and cocktail receptions on Friday and Saturday, August 6-7. You MUST have a valid student ID at the time of the event to register with this option. You must show your ID at registration on-site.)
Did I mention the part about student tickets being sold out?
Because, they totally are!
And I just happen to have one that I’m going to give to one of you!

The fabulous ladies at BlogHer have already directed me as to what to do in order to transfer my ticket to someone else, meaning I’m ready to give this ticket away.
So, here’s how this works.
If you are a STUDENT, with a VALID STUDENT ID, you are eligible to enter to win my ticket.
Now, remember, this is just for the ticket.
That I paid $75.00 for and is no longer available.

Well like you I am a student but I thought I wasn’t going to be able to attend this year due the fact that I was pregnant and due 3 weeks after. Well as of this Friday night we learned that we had lost our sweet angel. When we found out all of this my husband trying to cheer me up said I could get a student ticket and go to blogher after all. Well as you know they are sold out and with our up coming medical cost, we are unable to afford the other tickets. I REALLY need a student ticket to blogger!! One of my best friends and I planned to go together, and I didn’t think I would be able to afford it. She bought her ticket a while ago, and I kind of put it out of my mind for a while. WELL Turns out this semester I went back to college, and got a student loan which is going to let me stay at home while going to school! I also have a bit of money left so I can go to blogher! When I went to buy my ticket a few weeks ago, I cried when I found out they were sold out

I want to go to BlogHer ‘10 because I know that it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. I’ve been wanting to go for a couple years now, but family circumstances and other things also known as “life” have prevented my chances and squashed my dreams. It’s a small thing and a huge thing all rolled into one. My life won’t end if I don’t ever make it to a BlogHer conference. But I know that my life will forever be better if somehow I’m able to go someday.
